The Alabama 5K Chase is hosted by the Alabama State Trooper Association, Montgomery Post. This is a fundraiser to help support the Troopers in and around the Montgomery area.
- Distance: Approximately 3.1 miles
- Location: Old Cloverdale Bottom, Montgomery
- Starting Point: Cloverdale Park at the intersection of Ponce De Leon Avenue and Cloverdale Road
- Open To: All ages are welcome to join us in this fun filled event.

Awards will be provided to the following classes and age groups:
- Overall: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Over All Male and Female
- Master's: Male and Female (40 and over)
- Grand Master's: Male and Female (50 and over)
- Great Grand Master's: Male and Female (60 and over)
Additionally, the following age groups will receive awards:
- Under 9
- 10-14
- 15-19
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75 & Over
