2025 Gleaners 5K Race

Gleaners Community Food Bank is excited to announce the 2025 Hunger Free Summer 5K Run and Walk! With the support of our incredible community, Gleaners continues to work toward our mission of creating a food-secure Southeast Michigan.

📆 Date and Location

Please join us as we race toward a food-secure community on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Freedom River in Brighton, Michigan.

💲 Pricing

• 5k run/walk: Early registration including shirt $30 until 6/08, then $35 with limited shirt sizes available. $40 on race day with no shirt.
• 1 mile fun run/walk: Early registration including shirt $25 until 6/08, then $30 with limited shirt sizes available. $35 on race day with no shirt. (Please note the 1 mile run/walk is an untimed event)

🏆 Awards

Running Lab gift certificates to the Overall Male and Female finishers. Awards to the top 3 in age groups (male and female): 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

• Race Day Packet Pickup: June 21 | 7:00 AM, Race Location - Freedom River | 6716 Winans Lake Rd. Brighton, MI 48116

🚗 Parking

Plenty of onsite parking.

🏞️ Course

Cross country type course including trails, fields, pavement with slight hills. Race is chipped timed.

📊 Results

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results are live during the event and posted on this website.
