Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month — every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

• Start Location: Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center: 2917 Optimist Drive, Marianna, FL 32448
• Registration Begins: 9:00 AM
• Walk Start: 10:00 AM

🚶‍♀️ Walk Details

Join us for a 5-mile walk loop beginning and ending at the Children’s Advocacy Center to advocate in our community! Participants can end there, or continue walking another 5 miles to the Florida Department of Transportation's offices (2956 State Correctional Rd., Marianna, FL 32448).

🚗 Transportation Notice

Please note, those continuing on to the second walk of the day are responsible for their own transportation following the walk as ride-share options are limited.
