4th Annual Pints And Paws 5K and 1 Mile Run Walk and Pup Strut

📅 Race Day Registration

On-site Race Day Registration at 7 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026.

⏰ Registration Deadlines

• Online Registration: Closed Midnight Thursday, August 27th at Midnight.
• Vendor Registration: Closes Monday, August 17, 2026.

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Event Type: A 5K running and walking event with 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut co-sponsored by Colonial Sports.
• Location: 2070 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185 (The Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot).
• Packet Pickup: RACE Day ONLY starting at 7:00 AM in the entrance to the field across from parking area.
• Item Donation: BRING AN ITEM FOR THE RESCUE and receive (1) an additional door prize ticket.

🐾 Dog Participation

• Safety Reminder: Please remember this is a 1 or 3.1 mile race depending on your registered event.
• Water Available: Water for the dogs will be available at start/finish.
• Participation Rule: Dogs are permitted to participate in all events when accompanied by a registered runner/walker.
• Leash Requirements: Dogs must be in a harness/collar and on a leash or suitable lead. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.

🏅 Race Details

• 1 Mile Fun Run Walk Start: 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Same starting line as the 5K event.
• 5K Start: 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Runners will utilize USATF-certified course VA20012RT.
• Course Route: This course follows the road running parallel to Jamestown Rd., then right onto Landfall, run to a turnaround, and back.
• Canine Awards: Due to high temperatures, there will be no canine awards in the 5K this year.

📸 Pup Photo Contest

Pup Photo Contest after the 1 Mile and 5K have finished. Entry Fee is $5 and open to anyone onsite with a pet. Contest Categories include: Best Dressed Pet, Best Pet/Owner Look Alike, Cutest Pet Smile, Best Large Breed, Best Small Breed. Each winner will receive a prize!

🛍️ Vendor Fair

There will be a vendor fair on site with animal friendly and community service vendors for your enjoyment between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

👕 Race Registration and T-Shirts

All participants who register by the deadline on August 25, 2026, are guaranteed a race t-shirt. A limited number of race t-shirts MAY be available for later registrations, but availability and specific sizes cannot be guaranteed. A die-cast finishers medal will be available to the first 175 finishers.

🍕 Included Amenities

(1) Beer and (1 slice) Pizza included in registration. Non-drinkers and underage participants will be able to receive a non-alcoholic beverage.

Parking is in the Jamestown Foundation Settlement parking lot.

Human Awards 5K Run/Walk:

• Top three male and female overall
• Top three male and female 10 and under
• Top three male and female 11-13
• Top three male and female 14-16
• Top three male and female 17-19
• Top three in 10 year age groups from 20-29 through 70-74 and 75 and over.

Human Awards 5K Competitive Walk: Male and Female Places 1st-5th

The 1 Mile Fun Run and Pup Strut will be an untimed event.
