4th Annual Pints And Paws 5K and 1 Mile Run Walk and Pup Strut

📅 Race Day Details

• On-site Registration: 7 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025.
• Online Registration Closes: Midnight Thursday, August 28th.
• Location: 2070 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185 (The Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot).
• Packet Pickup: RACE Day ONLY starting at 7:00 AM in the entrance to the field across from parking area.

🐾 Bringing Supplies for Rescue

• Item Collection: Bring an item for the rescue to receive one additional door prize ticket.
• Needed Items: Dog/cat food (dry or wet), treats, toys, cat litter, or gift cards for pet supply stores.
• New Items Only: Please contribute newly purchased items.
• Your Impact: Help supply essential needs for rescued animals.

🐶 Dog Safety Guidelines

• Heat Awareness: Consider your dog’s ability to manage heat and asphalt.
• Hydration: Water for dogs will be available at start/finish.
• Participation Rules: Dogs are permitted when accompanied by a registered runner/walker.
• Leash Requirement: Dogs must be in a harness/collar and on a leash (NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES).

🏃‍♀️ Race Schedule

• 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut: Starts at 8:00 am on August 30, 2025.
• 5K Start Time: 8:30 AM on August 30, 2025: USATF-certified course.
• Course Details: Follows the road running parallel to Jamestown Rd., then right onto Landfall.
• Dog Participation: Dogs may accompany participants, adhering to leash guidelines.

🐕 Pup Photo Contest

• Contest Time: Takes place after the 1 Mile and 5K have finished.
• Entry Fee: $5, open to anyone onsite with a pet.
• Categories: Best Dressed Pet, Best Pet/Owner Look Alike, Cutest Pet Smile, Best Large Breed, Best Small Breed.
• Prizes: Each category winner will receive a prize!

🍕 Registration Perks

• T-shirt Guarantee: All participants who register by August 22, 2025, are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
• Finisher Medals: Available to the first 200 finishers.
• Included in Registration: One beer and one slice of pizza: non-drinkers can get a non-alcoholic beverage.
• Parking: Located in the Jamestown Foundation Settlement parking lot.

🏆 Awards Information

• Human Awards 5K Run/Walk: Top three male and female overall, top three in age categories (10 and under, 11-13, 14-16, etc.).
• 5K Competitive Walk Awards: Male and Female Places 1st -5th.
• 1 Mile Fun Run and Pup Strut: This will be an untimed event.
