🏃♂️ Event Overview
The Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) - Colonial Virginia Council provides a well-rounded program that promotes physical, mental, and emotional development while fostering a lifelong love of learning and adventure. We currently serve around 2,000 youth and your support will help us expose more families about Scouting.
Lace up your running shoes and run or walk with for Scouting America. The Monitor Merrimac District of the Colonial Virginia Council is hosting our second annual Scout Strong 5K.
You do not have to be a runner to participate. This event provides a great opportunity for Scouts, friends and families to get outdoors and walk or run the 5k to support Scouting and your own health! All proceeds benefit the Colonial Virginia Council - Scouting America.
👕 Registration Details
Registration Deadline: In order to receive a race t-shirt, complete registration by July 25th. You are not guaranteed a shirt after the deadline.
Check-in: Check-in is the day of the race from 7-7:45am. Join the race and let's get active!

- Top 3 Overall: Male and Female
- Top 3 in Age Group: Male and Female categories (12 & Under, 13-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over)
⏰ Important Times
- 6:45 am: Park Gates Open
- 7:00 am: Check-in/Registration
- 8:00 am: Race Start
- 9:30 am: Awards and Celebration
