Walk, Run, Remember

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Walk, Run, Remember for Rick's Place, a 1.5 Mile Walk/5K Run, will take place at 9:00AM at Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, on April 26, 2025.

• Registration Fee: $30 for adults, $15 for anyone 17 and under (kids 5 and under are free).
• Memory Lane: Honor a loved one with a Memory Lane sign to be displayed on the course!
• Purchase Deadline: Memory Lane signs can be purchased for $10 on the race website store BEFORE APRIL 3rd.

🕗 Schedule

• Registration Opens: 8:00AM.
• Start Time: Walk and run will both start at 9 AM.
• Shirt Pre-registration: Pre-register by April 11th to ensure a short-sleeve cotton shirt.
• Pickup: Shirt and bib pickup will be available on race day beginning at 8:00 A.M.

💖 Beneficiary

All proceeds from the Walk/Run will benefit Rick’s Place.

🌟 About Rick's Place

In 2007, Rick's Place was established as a non-profit organization to provide grief support to youth and their parents/guardians. We offer community and connection to families as they manage one of life's most difficult experiences - the death of a significant caregiver or sibling. We have free grief support programs for families on-site in Wilbraham two evenings a month. We also facilitate grief support groups in area schools and lead professional development trainings for school personnel and practitioners about the impact of grief on young people. Our grief support programs serve Western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut communities.
