🍓 Owego Strawberry Festival 5K Celebration

Celebrate the 43rd Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

The Strawberry Festival Rock and Run 5K is Thursday night, June 19, 2025, at the Hickories Park in Owego.

• 4:30 PM: Bib pick up opens, Kid's Run Registration-location at the bandstand area.
• 5:15 PM: Kid's Fun Run - all kids, 12 and under, must register with a parent.
• 6:00 PM: 5K Race starts. Cool 2025 Strawberry Festival Race medal for every 5K participant.
• Medals: All 5K participants that sign up will receive a cool 2025 Strawberry Festival Run Medal!

👶 Kid's Fun Run

Kid's Fun Run Race starts at 5:15 - Ages 12 and under. Runners must register and have a parent sign for them to enter the race, so come early. Fun Run racers will receive a numbered bib and a medal!

🚗 Race Day Reminders

Day of the race: Coming into the Hickories Park, please remember to drive slowly!

• Safety: There will be a lot of people parking and gathering around the band stand area.
• Children: Kids may be running their Fun Run. There will be orange cones and volunteers to highlight the race and help with safety.
• Reminder: Please DRIVE SLOWLY entering the park.

👕 Tee Shirts

Tee shirts are available at a discount for runners/walkers that register on Run Sign Up!

Tee shirts will also be available for sale at the 5K race at event pricing.

🎶 Music and Festivities

Music and festivities start at 5:00.

Following the 5K Race, join us for more free music and fun at the Hickories bandstand. Live music, vendors and ice cream and food trucks until 9:00!

• Ice Cream Works: will be bringing their ice cream truck! Yum!
• Pitstop Popcorn: will be there! Great popcorn treats!

🎉 Strawberry Festival Events

Then more Strawberry Festival events that will happen in the Village of Owego near the Courthouse:

• Friday, June 20: Starting at 5:00 PM, music, vendors, food, and fireworks in the Village.
• Saturday, June 21: In the Village, the Strawberry Festival Parade starts at 10:00, vendors, food, entertainment all day!
