The 4th Annual Heroes Live Forever Memorial 5k stands as a poignant and meaningful event, where the Templeton community comes together to honor the legacy of a beloved local hero, Tracy Ferrazza. As an EMT who dedicated her life to serving and protecting the residents of Templeton, Tracy's unwavering commitment to public safety and selfless spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. This 5k run and walk provides a powerful opportunity for Firefighters, Police, EMS professionals, neighboring departments and communities to unite in paying tribute to Tracy's memory, while also fostering a deep sense of camaraderie and community among the first responders. The flat, fast-paced course is designed to accommodate runners and walkers of all skill levels, making it an inclusive event that welcomes competitive athletes as well as those seeking a more leisurely stroll. Children and families are also encouraged to participate, reinforcing the event's role as a unifying celebration of the Templeton community and the noble public servants who safeguard it. Through this annual memorial, the memory of Tracy Ferrazza and the profound impact she had on the town will live on, inspiring future generations of first responders to follow in her footsteps of courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

• Registration Opens: 9:30 AM
• Race Starts: 10:00 AM

👕 T-SHIRTS

• Guarantee: Shirts are guaranteed to the first 50 registered participants / prior to September 1, 2024
• Kids Entries: Kids entries do not include a free event shirt.

💧 WATER STOP

• Availability: Water stops will be available along the route.
• Course Monitors: We do NOT guarantee a course monitor will be present at every turn.

🚗 PARKING

• Parking: Free Race Parking will be available to all runners/walkers at Wachusett Brewing Company.
• Bag Check: There will be NO bag check. Please leave personal belongings in your car.

👣 WALKERS

• Entry: Walkers/strollers and pets are welcome to the race.
• Starting Position: Please start at the back of the field to mitigate congestion on-course.

🏅 SHIRTS & MEDALS

• T-Shirts: First 50 runners who preregister are guaranteed a t-shirt (Kids entries do not include an event t-shirt).
• Medals: First 200 participants to cross the finish line are guaranteed a race medal.

🎉 POST-RACE

• Refreshments: Refreshments, Snacks, Raffles and Post Awards and Music at the finish.
• Award Ceremony: Starts at 12:00 PM.

💸 REFUNDS

• Policy: All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Event Status: This is a rain or shine event, provided the weather does not present a hazard.

💖 DONATIONS

Donations of services and products to the event are welcomed as long as they are individual sealed and wrapped.

This event is proudly hosted by Give2Those, a 501 (c)(3) charity, dedicated to serving the needs of our Nations Heroes and their families. All proceeds from this event benefit Give2Those and scholarship assistance in memory of Templeton EMT Tracy Ferrazza, for students who wish to fulfill their dreams of becoming an EMT, Firefighter, Police Officer, or Special Needs teacher.
