🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) has protected public health and the environment by treating wastewater for the Upstate region. We are committed to ensuring our community's high quality of life by providing essential wastewater services to residents and businesses while safeguarding public health and the environment. This year, ReWa is celebrating 100 years of water treatment in South Carolina, and we want to invite you to celebrate with us and explore the Clean Water Connector Trail. This trail will be a public educational and recreational path on ReWa's Innovation Campus, connecting to the Swamp Rabbit Trail and Conestee Nature Preserve.

🎉 Centennial Celebration Run Details

The ReWa Centennial Celebration Run is a trail run/walk designed to celebrate our centennial!

• Type of Event: This relaxed and untimed community event will take place on our Innovation Campus.
• Scenic Course: Offering a scenic and fun way to honor 100 years of service while enjoying the beauty of an expansion to the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
• Open to All: This event is open to the public, totally FREE and we'll send you home with a free commemorative t-shirt.
• Family-Friendly: It's a family-friendly event without the pressure of a race clock.

🌳 Course Details

The event surface is a mix of dirt, gravel, and pavement, with elevation changes.

• Course Challenge: The 5k course includes a section with a steady uphill climb that may be challenging for some participants.
• Water Stop: We will have one water stop on the course.
• Self-Timing: The event will not be timed, and participants are encouraged to self-time their run if desired.
• Pet-Friendly: Dogs are welcome on a leash and strollers should be able to handle dirt surfaces.
