🎉 10th Annual Paper Chase 5K

We are super excited because it is the 10th Anniversary of the Paper Chase this year! The race will start at Lansing Shuffle and go south along the Lansing River Trail, turn around at the halfway point, and come back. We are also having a raffle where participants can purchase tickets to win prizes!!

💲 Pricing

• Entry fee: $40 until 5/22, $45 from 5/22 to 6/21, $50 race day 6/22
• T-shirt: Included for those who register on or before May 22, 2025, first-come first-served after that date
• Gift card: $10 gift card to Lansing Shuffle for every registrant
• Raffle: Prizes available for ticket purchases at the event

👥 Team Pricing

• Team discount: $5 discount per participant with a team of four or more

• Team requirements: Minimum of two members, at least one must be an employee or owner of the firm/organization
• Encouragement: Recruit your firm/organization staff, family members, and friends to join your team!

🏆 Awards

• Fastest finishers: Awards for the fastest three overall male and female finishers
• Team awards: Lowest time for a firm/organization team and greatest number of participants
• Averaging: Time calculated by averaging the times of the two fastest team members
• Recognition: Celebrate achievements with awards presented on race day

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Race Day morning starting at 9:00 am
• Location: At Lansing Shuffle
• Preparation: Arrive early to avoid rush
• Instructions: Follow given directions for a smooth process

❤️ Beneficiaries

A portion of the proceeds from the race will benefit the Michigan Capital Region Big Brothers Big Sisters, which facilitates and supports meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and youth (“Littles”). They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Another portion will benefit the Young Lawyers Section of the Ingham County Bar Association, providing networking and educational opportunities to young lawyers and law students at low or no cost.

⏱️ Timing

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the race and on this website.
