🎉 10th Annual Paper Chase 5K

We are super excited because it is the 10th Anniversary of the Paper Chase this year! The race will start at Lansing Shuffle and go south along the Lansing River Trail, turn around at the halfway point, and come back. We are also having a raffle where participants can purchase tickets to win prizes!!

💳 Pricing

• Entry Fee: $40 until 5/22, $45 from 5/22 to 6/21, $50 race day 6/22
• T-shirt Inclusion: A race t-shirt will be included for all participants who register on or before May 22, 2025.
• Gift Card: A $10 gift card to Lansing Shuffle will be provided for every person who registers.
• First-Come Basis: Participants who register after May 22 will receive a t-shirt on a first-come first-served basis.

Team Pricing

• Team Discount: Join in the fun with a team and receive a $5 discount per participant with a team of four or more.
• Team Information: See the Paper Chase Team Information section for full details.
• Team Composition: Teams consist of a minimum of two people, with at least one member being an employee or owner of the firm/organization.
• Recruitment: Encourage your firm/organization staff, family members, and friends to join your team!

🏅 Awards

• Fastest Finishers: Awards will be presented to the fastest three (3) overall male and female finishers.
• Team Awards: Awards for the team with the lowest time and the team with the greatest number of participants.
• Lowest Time Calculation: Lowest time will be calculated by averaging the times of its two (2) fastest team members.
• Encouragement: Help us reach our goal of 150 participants this year!

📦 Packet Pickup

• Timing: Packet pickup will be held on Race Day morning starting at 9:00 am.
• Chip Timing: The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
• Live Results: Results will be live during the race and on the website.
• Location: The event will take place at 325 Riverfront Drive, Lansing, MI.

💖 Beneficiaries

A portion of the proceeds from the race will benefit the Michigan Capital Region Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Young Lawyers Section of the Ingham County Bar Association, which provides networking and educational opportunities to young lawyers and law students at low or no cost.
