🌍 Understanding Tuberculosis

• Curable Disease: Tuberculosis is a curable disease, yet it continues to be the top infectious disease killer.
• Active Cases: Over 10 million active cases exist worldwide.
• Avoidable Deaths: There are 1.25 million avoidable deaths each year due to TB.
• Our Goal: Our team has pledged to raise $4500 this year to support global tuberculosis care.

💸 How Your Support Helps

• Medical Aid: $4500 translates into 1500 chest x-rays or 450 lab tests to diagnose tuberculosis.
• Nutrition: Provides 1 month of food for over 100 tuberculosis patients.
• Treatment: Covers the cost of an entire 6 month TB treatment course for 9 children or adults.
• Get Involved: Support our mission by running (or jogging, wogging, or walking!) with us.

• Time: Join us at 10 AM.
• Location: Race starts at the SU Plinth, 800 W Campbell Rd, Richardson, TX.
• Check-in: Please arrive by 9:30 to ensure adequate time for check-in of all runners.
