Spring Street Mile & 5K Presented by PTSMC

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Spring Street Mile and 5K is a road race in Manchester, CT featuring separate races for men and women.
• Course: The mile course is point-to-point: the start is one mile from the finish. The 5K course starts and finishes in front of the Globe Hollow parking lot.
• Check-in: The check-in area & registration table is near the finish line so please plan accordingly.
• Restrooms: Available in the parking lot at Mt. Nebo, one mile from the Spring Street Mile start.

📋 Notes

• Registration: This year's race is no frills - no giveaways, but a lower registration cost. Add-on items can be purchased during registration and the day of the race.
• Advance Registration: Please register in advance. Race-day registration will be paperless. Everyone is encouraged to register in advance.
• Cash Policy: No cash accepted on race day.
• COVID-19 Guidelines: We will abide by all Town of Manchester and USATF guidelines regarding COVID-19.

🏆 Prizes / Awards

• Awards: Prizes will be given to the top 3 male, female, and non-binary runners overall.
• Divisions: Prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 in each of the following divisions: Under 18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Award Distribution: Walk through awards distribution. As results are available, you may come to the awards table to pick up your award.
• Formal Presentation: There will be a formal awards presentation for the top three male, female, and non-binary runners.

⏱️ Timing

• Timing Company: Timing is brought to you by Last Mile Racing Co.
• Timing System: Will be timed using the B-Tag timing system.
• Bib Placement: You must wear your bib on the front of your body to ensure the most accurate time.
• Accurate Timing: Proper placement of bib is essential for accurate results.

📈 Results

• Result Availability: Results will be posted on this page as well as www.tlmracing.com

🚗 Parking

• Parking Location: Parking is available in the Globe Hollow parking lot with overflow parking at Mt. Nebo Parking lot.
• Exit Policy: You will only be able to exit the parking lot heading West until 10:15 AM. After that, the road will be open for travel in both directions.

🚻 Restrooms

• Availability: Restrooms will be available at Mt. Nebo.

🔒 Personal Property

• Bag Check: There is no bag check.
• Responsibility: Items left at the start line will not be transported to the finish line.
• Security: Manchester Running Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items, please do not leave bags unattended.

• Double Participation: The Spring Street Mile is followed by the Spring Street 5K, you are welcome to compete in both.
• Course Details: The 5k features a rolling-loop course and the final mile is all downhill!
