Race Overview

The 9th Annual Outrun Addiction 5K will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 2026

Please join us for this 5K Run/Walk and 2 Mile Walk. Unable to join us on that day? Choose the option of running virtually.

Parking

There is plenty of parking on site at the Enfield Educational Annex, 124 North Maple St, Enfield, CT

Race Day Schedule

• 7:30 AM: Registration/Packet Pick Up Opens
• 9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk and 2 Mile Walk Start
• 10:00 AM: Post-Race Awards

Awards

• Overall top Male and Female: 5K Finishers
• Top Three 5K Finishers: in age groups 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Virtual runners: Eligible for the Farthest Participant Award
• Team Awards: Largest Team, Fastest Team, Most Enthusiastic Team, Most Generous Team

Virtual Race

• Register as a Virtual Runner: Run your own 5K at your convenience
• Receive a race T-Shirt: In the mail if registered by Midnight September 6th, 2026
• Upload your own results: Between September 16th - 20th (instructions will be emailed)
• Virtual Results: Will appear in a separate category and are NOT eligible for Age Group Awards. Virtual Runners will be eligible for the "Farthest Participant" Award

Registration

Register early and save!

• $25: Pre-Registration (Until May 29th)
• $30: May 30th to September 6th
• $35: September 7th to September 18th
• $40: Race Day Registration
• T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registered by Sept. 6th, 2026 (Must be present to receive)

Store

Go to the Store to order additional Race T-Shirts ($15) or Outrun Addiction Hoodies ($40). Deadline to order merchandise is September 6th, 2026

Course Certification

The 5K Course is USATF Certified. (Certification Code: CT23020JHP)

Race Proceeds

Will benefit local addiction awareness groups: Today I Matter, The Alex Fisher Foundation, and TriCircle.
