The 8th Annual Outrun Addiction 5K will take place on Saturday, September 20th, 2025
Please join us for this 5K Run/Walk and 2 Mile Walk. Unable to join us on that day? Choose the option of running virtually.
Parking
- Location: There is plenty of parking on site at the Enfield Educational Annex, 124 North Maple St, Enfield, CT
Race Day Schedule
- 7:30 AM: Registration/Packet Pick Up Opens
- 9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk and 2 Mile Walk Start
- 10:00 AM: Post-Race Awards
Awards
- Overall: Top Male and Female 5K Finishers
- Top Finishers: The Top Three 5K Finishers in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
- Virtual Runners: Eligible for the Farthest (from Enfield, CT) Participant Award
- Team Awards: Largest Team, Fastest Team, Most Enthusiastic Team, Most Generous Team
Virtual Race
- Participation: Register as a Virtual Runner and run your own 5K at your convenience
- T-Shirt: Receive a race T-Shirt in the mail if registered by Midnight September 7th, 2025
- Results Submission: Upload your own results between September 17th - 21st (instructions will be emailed)
- Awards Eligibility: Virtual Results will appear in a separate category from live results and are NOT eligible for Age Group Awards. Virtual Runners will be eligible for the "Farthest Participant" Award
Registration
- $25: Pre-Registration (Until May 30th)
- $30: Until Race Day
- $35: Race Day Registration
- T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registered by Sept. 7th, 2025 (Must be present to receive)
Course Certification
The 5K Course is USATF Certified. (Certification Code: CT23020JHP)
Race Proceeds
Race proceeds will benefit local addiction awareness groups: Today I Matter, The Alex Fisher Foundation, and TriCircle.
