Important Registration Information

• Shirt/Swag Deadline: MUST BE Registered by November 1st to receive Shirt/Swag.
• Refund Policy: Race is Rain or Shine. No Refunds.
• Online Registration: Closes November 24th at Midnight.
• Day of Race Registration: $50.00, begins at 7:45 AM and closes promptly at 8:30 AM.

Health & Wellness Expo

• Time: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.
• Participating Businesses: Join local businesses as they showcase their products and services.

Registration Fees

• Early Registration: $40.00 by November 1st (must be registered by midnight).
• Standard Registration: $45.00 from November 2nd - 24th.
• Day of Race: $50.00, with a limited pick-up from 7:45 AM to 8:30 AM.
• Packet Pick-Up: Thursday, November 20 and Saturday, November 22 at New Balance Avon.

Raffle Prizes

• Eligibility: Raffle prizes only drawn for those who attend Pre-Race Packet Pick-up.
• Examples of Prizes: American Flatbread, Back East Brewing, BeanZ, and more.
• Gift Cards: Various businesses including Blue House Bagel, Chili’s, and Fresh Market.
• Unclaimed Prizes: Any raffle prizes not picked up by race day will be donated.

Awards

• Sponsor: Sponsored by Peoples Bank.
• Top Awards: VISA gift card awards to top 3 male and female overall (1st place - $250, 2nd place - $150, 3rd place - $100).
• Age Division Awards: Souvenir coins for top male/female in several categories.
• Awards Ceremony: Takes place at 10:00 AM on race day.

Course Route

The race will start and finish at Thompson Brook School beginning at 9:00 AM. The route will be from Thompson Brook School facing West on Thompson Road, then turn North (right) onto West Avon Road, turn East (right) onto Scoville Road, then North (left) to Fox Den Road and East to Sleepy Hollow Road. Turn Southeast (right) to Burnham Road, then turn East (left) onto Scoville Road. Turn South to Old Farms Road and then West (right) onto Thompson Road to Thompson Brook School. We will provide trash pickup at the school. Free beverages as well as fruit will be offered at finish.

Each registered runner that crosses the finish line will receive a medal.

Course Information: Police escort at race start, family-friendly, strollers welcome. No pets allowed. Following Covid guidelines at the time of the race.

Fundraising Purpose

Funds raised support the Avon High School Cross Country Team, their equipment, resources, and opportunities for our student athletes as well as promote the success and sportsmanship of our entire athletic program. It also funds scholarships for several graduating seniors.

The Avon High School Booster Club was founded in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. We are an organization of parents and other community volunteers dedicated to supporting all Avon High School Athletic programs, promoting positive sportsmanship among student-athletes and inspiring Falcon Pride within the community.
