Important Registration Information

• Registration Deadline: Must be registered by October 31st (11:59 pm) to receive shirt/swag.
• Weather Policy: Race is rain or shine. At your own risk.
• Refunds: No refunds available.

Registration Fees

• Early Registration: $40.00 by October 31st (11:59 PM).
• Standard Registration: $45.00 from November 2nd-23rd.
• Online Registration: Closes November 23rd at 11:59 PM.
• Day Of Registration: $50.00, starts at 7:45 AM, closes at 8:30 AM.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up

• Location: New Balance Avon.
• Dates: Thursday, November 19 - 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Saturday, November 21 - 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Raffle Prizes: Only drawn for those that attend pre-race packet pick-up: one ticket per bib picked up.
• Note: Any raffle prizes not picked up by race day will be donated.

Awards

• Overall Awards: VISA gift cards for top 3 male and female finishers: 1st place - $250, 2nd place - $150, 3rd place - $100.
• Age Division Awards: Top male/female in each age division (Under 10, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
• Ceremony: Awards will be presented on the day of the event beginning at 10:00 AM.

Course Route

The race will start and finish at Thompson Brook School beginning at 9:00 AM.

The route will be as follows: start at Thompson Brook School facing West on Thompson Road, turn North (right) onto West Avon Road, turn East (right) onto Scoville Road, then North (left) to Fox Den Road and East to Sleepy Hollow Road. Turn Southeast (right) to Burnham Road, then turn East (left) onto Scoville Road. Turn South to Old Farms Road and then West (right) onto Thompson Road to Thompson Brook School. We will provide trash pick-up at Thompson Brook School. Free beverages as well as fruit will be offered at the finish.

Each registered runner that crosses the finish line will receive a medal.

Course Information

• Police Escort: At race start.
• Family Friendly: Strollers welcome.
• Pets: No pets allowed.
• Covid Guidelines: Follow guidelines at the time of the race.

Funds raised support the Avon High School Cross Country Team, provide resources and opportunities for student athletes, and promote the overall success and sportsmanship of the athletic program. Donations are also made to the Avon High School Booster Club and Avon Volunteer Fire Department.

The Avon High School Booster Club was founded in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. We are dedicated to supporting all Avon High School athletic programs, promoting positive sportsmanship, and inspiring Falcon Pride within the community.
