Asheville Turkey Trot 2025

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 25th Annual Asheville Turkey Trot 5K and Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Jus’ Running is Thanksgiving Day- Thursday, November 27, 2025. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank.

Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, November 26 from 3pm until 6pm, at Fred Anderson Subaru (110 S Bear Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28806). Race day registration is available. Keep in mind shirts aren't guaranteed during late registration. If not registered by November 1, shirts are not guaranteed.

Race day packet pick up will be at Pack Square Park from 7am until 8:30am. The race starts on Woodfin St. in front of the Downtown YMCA and finishes at Pack Square Park.

Please note, due to restrictions NO DOGS/PETS are allowed. The course is not completely closed so this is for safety purposes.

📦 Early Packet Pickup & Registration

Come to Fred Anderson Subaru to pick up your race packet and register for the event.

• When: Wednesday, November 26 | 3pm - 6pm
• Where: 110 S Bear Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28806
• How to Enter: Follow signs to a gravel parking lot and enter through the service entrance.
• Bagless Event: Please consider bringing a bag if you are picking up for multiple runners.

🏃‍♀️ 5K Course Directions

1. Race starts on Woodfin Street in front of the downtown YMCA
2. Head toward Central Ave, turn right.
3. To the top of the hill, turn right on E. Chestnut St.
4. Turn left on Charlotte.
5. Follow Charlotte St to Evelyn Place, turn left.
6. Follow Evelyn place, crossing Edwin/Kimberly to Murdock St, turn left onto Murdock.
7. Follow Murdock to Hillside St, turn right (water stop on Murdock).
8. Hillside to N. Liberty, turn left.
9. Follow Liberty, crossing Chestnut St to Orange St, turn left.
10. Follow Orange to Central Ave, turn right onto Central.
11. Follow Central Ave down to Woodfin St, turn left on Woodfin.
12. Follow Woodfin which changes name to Oak St. to the traffic circle.
13. Turn right onto College St.
14. Finish is approximately .1 mile on the left at Pack Square Park.

1. Race starts on Woodfin Street in front of the First Congregational Church.
2. Head toward Central Ave, turn right.
3. Turn left on Orange Street.
4. Turn left on S. Liberty Street.
5. Turn left on Elm Street.
6. Turn right on Central Avenue.
7. Turn left on Woodfin Street.
8. Follow Woodfin which changes name to Oak St. to the traffic circle.
9. Turn right onto College St.
10. Finish is approximately .1 mile on the left at Pack Square Park.
