• Opening Date: Registration opens April 1st, 2025!

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Start: Greenmont celebration weekend starts with the Gene's Run events at the historic Gene's Beer Garden.
• Friday Night: Morgantown's first beer mile. Run it individually or with a team of two or four.
• Saturday Morning: The 5k travels through the historic and beautiful neighborhoods of Greenmont and South Park.
• Post-Race Celebrations: Events are followed by post-race celebrations at Gene's Beer Garden and at the AlBonnerooo music festival.

🎉 Family Fun

• Evening Activities: Continue the family celebrations at the Greenmont Neighborhood Block Party on Saturday evening.

💖 Beneficiary

• Proceeds: Proceeds of the Gene's Run benefit Empty Bowls of Monongalia County.
