• Host: Louisa County Sheriff’s Office & LCSO Foundation
• Purpose: This event helps raise funds for many of our community programs and the LCSO K9 Unit.
• Course: A rolling 5K course with a downhill finish.
• Experience: Suitable for both experienced runners and beginners.

📅 Schedule of Events

• Packet Pickup:
• Friday, April 24, 2026, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM – Early packet pickup at LCSO (1 Woolfolk Ave, Suite 101, Louisa, VA 23093)
• Saturday, April 25, 2026 – Race Day packet pickup starts at 7:00 AM at Spring Creek Sports Center

• 7:00 AM: Race Day Packet Pickup Begins
• 8:30 AM: 5K Race Start
• 9:30 AM: ½ Mile Kids Race Start
• 10:00 AM: Awards Ceremony (Approximate)
• 10:15 AM: K-9 Demonstration (Approximate)

🐶 Dog-Friendly Event Guidelines

• All well-behaved dogs: are welcome!
• Leashing: Dogs must be leashed (max 6’ lead, no retractable leashes).
• Water station: A water station will be available.
• Cleanup: Owners must clean up after their dogs.
• Clubhouse restriction: Dogs are not permitted in the clubhouse.
• Vaccination: All dogs must be current on rabies vaccinations.

• Event organizers reserve the right to remove aggressive or ill dogs.
• Owners assume full responsibility for their pets.
