📅 Training Program

• Duration: 8 week training program.
• Start Date: Starts December 13.
• Official Training Days:
  • Thursday at 6:15 PM – Coached Group Meeting
  • Saturday at 8:00 AM – Long run or walk
• Extras: Weekly strength training video provided by Dr. Anthony

🍌🎅 Bananas vs. Santas Dec. 20th Run/Walk/Social

Get ready for the most a-peel-ing holiday-themed showdown of the year! It’s Bananas vs. Santas, and you’re invited to run, walk, or strut your stuff in this festive celebration of fun and friendly competition.

• Location: South Market at 3-mile Bridge in Pensacola (232 E Main St, Pensacola, FL 32502)
• Time: 8:15 AM

🎉 Gallery Night Gathering

Join for an unofficial gathering to take over the streets of Gallery Night, Bananas vs. Santas style!

• Date: December 19th
• Location: Fleet Feet Pensacola
• Time: 6:30 PM
• Description: We will take to the streets as a group! Gallery Night is a downtown Pensacola monthly festival with vendors, food, drink, and more.

🎭 Costume Contest and Fun

Dress as your jolliest Santa or go full banana split and represent Team Banana—costumes are highly encouraged, and yes, there will be a prize for best dressed!

• Location: 3-mile bridge in Pensacola!
• Paces: All paces welcome
• Fun Run: Not timed (However we will return by 40 minutes after start)
• Activities: Costume contest &: Games

🍌 Post-Run Fun

• What to Bring: Water, snacks, and anything you need for self-sustainability.
• Banana-Themed Fun:
  • Banana Toss – Like egg toss, but slipperier!
  • Banana Balance Challenge – 20-yard sprint while balancing a banana on your head.
  • Costume Contest – Come dressed in your banana best or jolly Santa gear.
  • Photo Ops – Snap pics with your squad, bananas, Santas, and festive fun!
• Bonus: Post-Run Social at South Market - Games, prizes, food &: drinks — come hang out and keep the holiday spirit going!

Where Does the Money Go? Your contributions help cover city support, venue needs, props (yes, bananas!), and all the quirky, joyful things that make this event special.
