Join us Saturday, September 12, 2026, for a 5k to promote health and celebrate 93,000 nurses across Kentucky!

Event Description

• Purpose: The Kentucky Nurses Association 2026 5K Fun Run/Walk is a vibrant and purposeful event dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and community engagement.
• Support: This walk brings together individuals to support the Kentucky Nurses Association (KNA) and nurses across Kentucky who serve as leaders to promote positive healthcare in the Commonwealth.
• Networking: The walk provides a unique opportunity to network with fellow community members.
• Fundraising: Raise awareness about the critical role nurses play in healthcare and support the future of nursing through essential fundraising efforts.

Event Details

• Date & Location: The Kentucky Nurses Association 2026 5k Fun Run Walk will take place at Freeman Lake Park on Blue Heron Way in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
• Route: The 5k route provides a view of the beautiful lake.
• Accessibility: This 5k is for all fitness levels to walk or run—join nurses and others who support Kentucky nurses!

Registration Information

• Early Bird Registration: $35 until July 5, 2026, and $40 thereafter.
• Virtual Option: $45 before July 5, 2026 and $50 after July 5.
• Team Discount: Register a Team of 4 or more and each team member will receive a $5 discount.

Participant Incentives

• T-Shirt and Medal: A t-shirt and medal will be provided for all registered participants that register by August 1, 2026.
• Registration Note: Registering beyond August 1, 2026 does not guarantee a t-shirt and medal. Extra t-shirts will be available until the inventory is depleted.
• Children's Participation: Children 10 years of age and under may walk/run with a registered adult: however, only those with a paid registration will receive a t-shirt and medal.

Race Day Information

• Packet Pick-Up: Race packet pick up and on-site registration begins at 8:00am EST on the day of the event.
• Race Start Time: The race starts at 9:30am EST. Please arrive prior to 8:30am EST to pick up your packet and be ready for the race start.
