Dear Niantic Jingle 5K Friends-
Join us as we celebrate the 13th Niantic Jingle 5K at McCooks Park in Niantic on Saturday, December 12th. Registration begins at 8:30. The Walk/Run starts at 10am. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at one of the top road races in Connecticut once again! Come join us at the celebration of the holiday season!
Participation Information
Run/Walk Options: Whether you prefer to run, walk, or push a stroller, everyone is welcome!
Fundraising Goal: Help make a difference and raise funds for the Brian Dagle Foundation and Brian's Healing Hearts Center for Hope and Healing.
Community Impact: "Anchored in hope and empowered to support, is dedicated to the healing of grieving adults as well as community education on suicide prevention and awareness."
Last Year's Success: We experienced record numbers with over 1400 runners and walkers of all fitness levels who joined us for this festive community event.
Important Race Information
- Online Registration: Remains open right up until 15 minutes before the race.
- Day of Registration: Available starting at 8:30am.
- Early Packet Pick Up: Friday, December 12th from 9:00pm-5:00pm at the East Lyme Community Center, 41 Society Rd. East Lyme.
Day of Parking
Please consider carpooling due to the expected crowd this year!
- Location 1: St. Agnes-22 Haigh Ave, Niantic
- Location 2: St. John’s Green, 400 Main St, Niantic
- Location 3: Niantic Baptist Church, Main St, Niantic
- Location 4: VFW 39 Columbus Ave, Niantic.
Additional parking is available at Hole in the Wall Beach Niantic and Main Street Niantic.
Due to high registration numbers, please consider carpooling and early pick up.
Race Day Agenda
- 8:30am: Registration for everyone begins.
- 9:00am: Costume Contest begins. Winners chosen by 9:30am.
- 9:45am: Starting line formation begins.
- 10:00am: The Race takes off!
Additional Events:
- 11:00am: Awards given to top finishers.
- Entertainment: Food Truck, DJ, and Santa Claus will be joining us.
- Medals: Everyone who crosses the finish line receives a medal.
