About this race
Event Overview
Dear Niantic Jingle 5K Friends-
Join us as we celebrate the 13th Niantic Jingle 5K at McCooks Park in Niantic on Saturday, December 12th. Registration begins at 8:30. The Walk/Run starts at 10am. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at one of the top road races in Connecticut once again! Come join us at the celebration of the holiday season!
Purpose of the Race
Run, walk, push a stroller! Alone or together with a team, help make a difference and raise funds for the Brian Dagle Foundation and Brian's Healing Hearts Center for Hope and Healing, which is dedicated to the healing of grieving adults as well as community education on suicide prevention and awareness.
Community Participation
- Record Numbers: Last year we experienced over 1400 runners and walkers of all fitness levels.
- Top Ranking: Rated as one of the Top 11 Connecticut Road Races (bestthingsct.com).
- Course Information: Run or walk this easy flat course along the Niantic shoreline.
- Wrap Up Dates: We look forward to seeing everyone on 12/12/26.
Registration Information
- Online Registration: Remains open right up until 15 minutes before the race.
- Day of Registration: Available starting at 8:30am.
- Early Packet Pick Up: Friday, December 12th from 9:00pm-5:00pm at the East Lyme Community Center, 41 Society Rd. East Lyme.

Please consider carpooling due to the expected crowd this year!
- St. Agnes: 22 Haigh Ave, Niantic.
- St. John's Green: 400 Main St, Niantic.
- Niantic Baptist Church: Main St, Niantic.
- VFW: 39 Columbus Ave, Niantic.
- Hole in the Wall Beach: Niantic.

Race Day Agenda
- Registration: For everyone begins at 8:30am.
- Costume Contest: Begins at 9am, winners chosen by 9:30am.
- Starting Line: Formation begins at 9:45am.
- National Anthem: At 9:55am.
- Race Start: The Race takes off at 10am!
- Awards: Given to top finishers at 11am.
- Special Guests: Food Truck, DJ, and Santa Clause will be joining us.
- Finisher Medals: Everyone who crosses the finish line receives a medal.
