Pursuit of Fun 5k

Event Overview

Join us for the Pursuit of Fun 5K on May 23, 2026, at Gulf Islands Waterpark, Gulfport, MS. All participants get free entry into the Gulf Islands Waterpark after the race!

Waiver Information

• Online Waiver: Every person who enters Gulf Islands Waterpark must complete an online waiver (link below).
• Age Requirement: Guests 18 years of age and older must sign their own waiver. Guests 17 and younger must have their waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
• Email Requirement: Everyone must use a valid email address for the waiver to be confirmed and finalized.

Race Details

• Start Times: 8:00 AM for 5K, 9:00 AM for Kids' 1 Mile.
• Awards: Awards for all normal divisions in the 5K.
• Registration Fees: 5K: $20 for GCRC Members, $22 for Non-Members (plus RunSignUp's fee).
• Discount Information: If you have an active membership and do not see the discount, claim your membership in the new system here.

Additional Registration Details

• Late Registration: $25 for late registration the morning of the race.
• Kids' 1 Mile: $15 for children 12 and under.
• Chaperone Fee: $10 for adult chaperones to gain entry into the park (no shirt included).
• T-Shirts: T-Shirts guaranteed only to pre-registered participants.

Certification and Access

• Certification: USATF certified MS22010MS.
• Waterpark Access: Water park access requires signing their waiver. The link to a smart waiver will be provided closer to the event.
