27th Annual Rail Trail 10-Miler

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

On August 23, 2025, the York Road Runners Club will hold the 27th annual Rail Trail 10-Miler to benefit The ARC of York and Adams Counties.

The race starts at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church in Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, and runs ten gentle, downhill miles one way north along the scenic York County Heritage Rail Trail, passing through the oldest operational train tunnel in the nation, and finishing just before the Rail Trail crosses Princess Street in downtown York, PA.

After the runners finish the course, post-race refreshments (including craft beer from Collusion Tap Works) and entertainment will take place at the Agricultural and Industrial Museum (directly across the street from the finish line).

There is a 2 1/2 hour time limit to finish the race.

• Finisher Medal: Participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Enjoy great post-race refreshments.
• Craft Beer: Craft beer (for runners over the age of 21) from Collusion Tap Works will be available.
• T-Shirt: The official 2025 Rail Trail 10 Miler short sleeve t-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 200 entrants.
• Water Stations: Four water stations along the course.
• Timing: Chip timing and race results by Black Cat Timing.
• Busing: Busing from the finish line to the start line is available for runners who register early. Seating is VERY limited.
• Goodies: Other goodies thanks to our sponsors and donors!

🏅 Age Group Awards

We will have awards for the top three finishers (for both men and women) in the following age groups:

• Overall: Top finishers will be recognized.
• 19 and under: Award category for younger participants.
• 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39: Awards will be given in these categories.
• 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over: All age groups will have awards for top three finishers.
