Coach Cox's Kids Race by the Lake

Event Description

The Colony Parks and Recreation Department and The Colony Roadrunners Club present the 24th annual Coach Cox's Kids Race by the Lake. Children ages 9 and under will compete in a half mile race, while children ages 10-12 run a one mile course. All participants will receive a ribbon and goody bag. Race t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 registered participants.

Race Details

• Date and Time: April 11, 2026, races begin at 8:00 am.
• Location: 3700 Sparks Rd., The Colony, TX.
• Recommendation: All participants should arrive at Stewart Creek Park no later than 7:30 am.
• Vehicle Access: Closed at 7:45 am.

Warm-Up and Results

There will be an organized warm-up for all participants at 7:30 am. Results will be calculated and presented as soon as possible following the conclusion of the last race.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Thursday 4/9 and Friday 4/10.
• Time: 6:30 am - 9:00 pm.
• Location: The Colony Recreation Center, 5151 N Colony Blvd, The Colony.
• Race Day: Any packets not picked up will be available on race day for pickup.
