Run Wild 5K, 10K and Smokey Bear Kids Fun Run

🍂 Race Overview

Awesome Autumn run in beautiful Potawatomi State Park, Door County, WI Celebrating 37 years of Run Wild.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Challenge: Take the challenge and run up tower hill in the featured 10K race.
• Scenic Route: Both the 5K and 10K are run on tree-lined park roads closed to traffic.
• Park Fee: Park entrance fee is waived on the day of the race until 11:00 a.m.
• Proceeds: All proceeds raised go to support the Friends of Potawatomi State Park projects in the park.

🏆 Awards

• Categories: Awards to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each 10-year age division.
• Award Pickup: Awards will not be mailed, must be picked up on the day of the race.
• Timing: There will be a gun start and chip-timed finish.
• T-shirts: Long sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrations received by September 20th.

🗓️ Registration Information

• Fees: Pre-registration fees go up on 9-21-2025.
• Online Cutoff: Online registration closes at midnight on 10-4-2025.
• In-Person Registration: You can still register in person at packet pick-up or the day of the run at the event.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pick-up is at Bay Shore Outfitters, 59 N. Madison Ave. in Sturgeon Bay on Friday, October 10th from 2-6 PM or day of starting at 7:30 a.m. at the event.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Start Time: The 5K and 10K races both have a gun start promptly at 9:30 a.m. October 11th, 2025.
• Kids Run: A 1/3 mile Smokey Bear run will be held at approximately 10:30 for ages 2-10.
• Visibility: Please wear your bib in front and keep visible for our timers and volunteers at intersections.
• Arrival: Please arrive at the park by 8:30 a.m. to avoid road closures at 9:15 a.m.
