Hosted by: Neuroworx, an outpatient rehabilitation clinic for persons who have suffered a spinal cord injury, brain injury, or other life altering neurological disorder/disease.
Purpose: The event allows an inclusive space for our past and current patients as well as others in our community to work toward a goal and participate.
Participation: Participants can join using a wheelchair, adaptive bike, or by walking/running.
Funding: Funds raised will support the Supporting Opportunities for Adaptive Recreation Grant to provide adaptive equipment for those wishing to get back outside after a life-altering injury or diagnosis.
📍 Event Location
Start/End Point: Dr. O. Roi Hardy Park
Course: The event will be a 5K on the Jordan River Trail.
Course Format: Circle format that crosses over two bridges.
Direction: The race will head North on the East side of the trail and then return South on the West side after crossing a bridge.
🏅 1 Mile Event
Distance: A 1 mile option will be offered for those who may not be ready for the full 5K.
Format: The 1 mile will be an out-and-back course on the West side of the Jordan River Trail.
Inclusivity: Designed for participants who prefer a shorter distance but still wish to take part in the event.
Accessibility: Open for all to participate in order to encourage community involvement and support.
