Welcome to the 27th annual 5K Race and Kids K Fun Run thru downtown Rockford.

📋 Race Certification

MRTR is a USAT & F certified 5K Run/Walk for multiple ages. The course runs through historic downtown Rockford and along the majestic Rogue River. Accurate splits at each mile and finish times.

❤️ Charity Cause

Mitchell's Run Thru Rockford (MRTR) was organized to benefit Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD). Mitchell Peterson, and many other boys and some girls from West Michigan have been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. All race proceeds will be donated to PPMD in Mitchell's honor, to END DUCHENNE.

Each registered 5K participant will receive a Mitchell's Run race tee, race bib, a finisher medal and race refreshments.

• Kids K Participants: Receive race tee, bib, medal, and treat
• Virtual 5K Participants: Mailed race packet with tee, bib, and medal

📆 Packet Pickup Schedule

Packet pick up will take place on:

• Date: Friday, August 22 from 4:30pm - 7:00pm
• Date: Saturday, August 23 from 7:00am - 8:00am
