Welcome to the 27th annual 5K Race and Kids K Fun Run thru downtown Rockford.

🏅 Course Information

MRTR is a USAT & F certified 5K Run/Walk for multiple ages. The course runs through historic downtown Rockford and along the majestic Rogue River.

• Accurate splits: At each mile and finish times.
• Scenic route: Runs through scenic Rockford and along The White Pine Trail!

🚀 Charitable Cause

Mitchell's Run Thru Rockford (MRTR) was organized to benefit Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD). Mitchell Peterson, and many other boys and some girls from West Michigan have been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

• Proceeds: All race proceeds will be donated to PPMD in Mitchell's honor, to END DUCHENNE.
• Family-friendly: This is a fun, family event, with live music and a festive atmosphere.

👕 Participant Perks

Each registered 5K participant will receive a Mitchell's Run race tee, race bib, a finisher medal and race refreshments.

• 5K participants: Receive a race tee, race bib, finisher medal, and refreshments.
• Kids K participants: Receive a race tee, race bib, finisher medal, and treat.
• Virtual 5K participants: Will be mailed a race packet with our MRTR race tee, race bib, and medal prior to the event.

📅 Packet Pickup

Packet pick up will take place on:

• Friday: August 22 from 4:30pm - 7:00pm
• Saturday: August 23 from 7:00am - 8:00am
