Sidewalk Shuffle 5K

Race Information

• Start Time: 12:00 P.M.
• Age Group: 6 and older—family-friendly! Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
• Location: 200 Lake Place Dr, Duluth, MN.

Course Details

• Start/Finish: The race will start and finish at the Lakewalk at Endion Station.
• Type: The course is an out and back, heading East up the shore along the Lakewalk.
• Participants: Walkers, shufflers, runners, and rollers (strollers and wheelchairs) are all welcome.
• Starting Position: Runners should place themselves closer to the front, while walkers and shufflers should stay towards the mid or back of the starting line.

Awards and Results

• Ceremony: Award Ceremony will take place between 12:45-1:15 p.m.
• Results Posting: Results will be posted on the Duluth Y website, www.duluthymca.org/programs/events/sidewalk-shuffle, www.northlandrunner.com, and www.duluthtimingandevents.com.
• Award Categories: 1st Place Youth (6-12) Male & Female, 1st Place Teen (13-17) Male & Female, 1-3rd place Adult (18+) Male & Female, 1st place Teams Male & Female, Co-Ed Team.
• Team Requirements: Co-ed teams must have at least 2 people of the opposite gender on the team. Maximum of 5 Shufflers per team.

Parking Information

• Timing: Please allow yourself time to park and to get to the start before the race starts.
• Suggested Parking: The Y strongly suggests that you park at one of the nearby ramps and that you walk to the start line.
• Free Parking: Shufflers will receive free parking validation with proof of running bib for the Holiday Inn Ramp or 4th Avenue Auto Park.
• Validation Details: Validation will be available at the welcome table.

Cancellation or Alteration Policy

• Safety First: The YMCA prioritizes the safety of program participants.
• Weather Risks: If weather poses a danger, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel the event.
• No Refunds: There will not be any refund or credits given if the race is canceled due to weather.
• Notifications: Participants will be notified through email, the Duluth Area Family YMCA website, and social media in the event of cancellation or alteration.

• Guarantee: The date for guaranteed tee-shirt has passed.
• Availability: The organizers will do their best to ensure everyone receives a tee-shirt, but it is no longer guaranteed.
