FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT - CHIP TIMED EVENT - ALL AGES AND ABILITIES WELCOME!

The Carlton Daze 5K Run/Walk is a family friendly chip timed event that is geared towards all ages and abilities. The 5K is what kicks off the start of weekend long small-town celebration that takes you through the quaint town of Carlton and a portion of Jay Cooke State Park off the Willard Munger State Trail. Recharge after the 5K with a cold beer, food, and music that you'll be sure to find all around town! Can’t wait to see you at the starting line! Cheers!

🏃 5K Course Details

• Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) – There will be 2 water stops.
• Start Line: At start, runners should line up at front, walkers will line up behind the runners.
• Note: Walkers are to walk – no running.
• Registration: If you are racing, running, or jogging, please register for the Runner category.

🏆 Awards Information

Awards ceremony immediately following the race.

• Medals: Overall top three men and women for both walking and running.
• Age Groups: Results for top three men and women in age groups: 12 and under, 13 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, 70+

💸 5K Pricing

• Inclusions: Includes 5K T-Shirt or Hat (No t-shirt/hat option is available for a $10 discount).
• Ages 18+: $35 through July 17th, then price increases to $40.
• Ages 9-17: $25.
• Ages 0-8: Free. (T-shirt not included, but you will have the option to purchase a youth t-shirt).

📅 Registration Deadline

Be sure to register by July 17th to be guaranteed your t-shirt size or hat! After July 17th, hats will no longer be an option: however, t-shirts will still be available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last on race day! But don't fret - if we run out of your size on race day, you can either choose a different size or you'll be able to pick up your size at a later date at Big Frog Custom T-Shirts in Hermantown!

Also, after July 17th the price increases from $35 to $40.

🕒 Event Day Schedule

• Kids Fun Races (Ages 2-8): Registration/check in is from 4:00-5:15 PM, Races start at 5:30 PM.
• 5K Run/Walk: Registration/check in is from 4:00-6:00 PM, 5K starts at 6:30 PM. You must check in at least 30 minutes prior to race start time.
