Twilight Trot and Sunset Stroll -- In Support of Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota

Event Overview

Join us for the second annual Twilight Trot 5k and Sunset Stroll 1 mile walk! An event presented by Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota, featuring a 5k run out and back on the beautiful lake walk along Lake Superior, a 1-mile stroll heading towards the aerial lift bridge.

Race Start Times

• Twilight Trot 5k: 6:00pm
• Sunset Stroll 1 mile walk: 6:05pm

Course Details

The race will start and finish at the Lakewalk Endion Station. The course is an out and back heading north east on the Lakewalk before returning to downtown. Please stay to the RIGHT side of the course, as runners will be going the opposite direction for a portion of the race.

Awards and Race Results

• Awards Ceremony: Between 6:45-7pm
• Results: Posted online.

Parking Information

Runners and walkers are encouraged to arrive early to allow yourself time to get to the start line. It is suggested that you use a nearby ramp or lot, and walk to the start line.

The 5K will start and finish at Endion Station in Canal Park. There are many paid parking options available in Canal Park, including:

• N Lake Ave Parking: Available
• Parking between Canal Park Lodge: Available
• Canal Park Brewing Company Parking Lot: Available
• Metered parking along Canal Park Drive: Available
• Northwest Iron Lot: Available

Shirts and Registration

Register before August 30th in order to guarantee a race shirt. If you register after that date, you may not be guaranteed a shirt.

Note: Virtual race cost will not include a t-shirt.

Important Notice

Please note: The Lakewalk will NOT be closed to the public during the race. There is potential for congestion to occur on the trail at times. Please keep this in mind as you prepare for the race. We ask that you please share the trail by being courteous and respectful to those using the trail for non-5K associated activities.
