Dragon trails Summer Edition (25k, 10k, 5K)

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Are you ready to test your limits, your strength, your tenacity and to accomplish one of the hardest races of your life? Well, you have come to the right place. Dragon trails will challenge you through the trails at Pearsall Park. We have three races for you to choose from:

🐉 Great Dragon 25k

First choice and the most challenging is the Great Dragon 25k race, which has a 2 loop course through the front hills of the dragon trails and then you follow it to the back trails which are nicer to travel but are relenting with the heat.

• Course: 2 loop course through front hills and back trails.
• Aid: Water stop every mile with water and Gatorade provided for each runner.
• Preparation: Prepping you for the Great Dragon Challenge 50K Trail Race.

🏔️ Ultimate Dragon 10K

Second choice will be the Ultimate Dragon 10K, which consists of almost all the same course as the 1st loop of the 25k, only difference is it turns around early near the 7th water stop.

• Challenges: Tons of hills and heat for all contestants.
• Distance: Shorter race that still challenges everything you have to finish the event.

🔥 San Antonio's Toughest 5K

Third option is San Antonio's Toughest 5K with nearly 100 feet of climbing through each kilometer. This race will definitely make every other 5K you have ever run seem like a walk in the park.

• Elevation: Nearly 100 feet of climbing through each kilometer.
• Experience: A true trail racing experience without the longer distance.

🏅 Post-Race Experience

All runners will receive a specific event race medal or finisher tile, a singlet with the race logo, and a taco breakfast for you to enjoy post race.

• Timing: This event will be officially timed by our Best Race Timers IAAP.
• Age Group Awards: Available for all events starting 19 and under, going up to 70 plus with 10-year increments for the 1st place.
• Entertainment: DJ Dragon and Announcer will ensure you have a great after-race party.
• Photography: Our amazing photographers from J&B Photography will be there to capture your incredible moments through the full terrain.
