🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

Mamas Day 5K is located in Buena Vista, CO. This run is on a combination of dirt and paved town trails and is stroller friendly. Run, jog, walk, stroller roll! Open to anyone wanting to celebrate moms!

👧 Kids Fun Run

• Cost: Free
• Distance: Less than 1 mile
• Features: Kids can decorate their own race numbers and there will be a tot loop.
• Activities: Face painting for kids will be available!

🎁 5K Participant Amenities

• Goodie Bags: All participants receive a goodie bag.
• Trucker Hats: Custom hats for every participant.
• Awards: Podium awards for top three ladies!
• Refreshments: Snacks and coffee from Cool River Cafe.

A portion of each race registration will go to support elevateHER, a local non-profit whose mission is to "foster self-worth and grit in young women through mentoring, outdoor adventure, and holistic wellness programs." You can also show them a little extra love by donating any amount when you register for the event.

📝 Registration & Deferment Policy

If you register and are unable to participate in the event, you have these options:

• Deferral: Let the race director know at least 48 hours in advance if you would like to defer to next year’s event (you will not receive a refund for this year but won't have to pay for next year).
• Participant Status: Stay registered and pick up your giveaway during packet pickup.
• Forfeiture: Forfeit your giveaway and your registration, considering it a donation.
• Accommodations: Additional accommodations can be made for expectant or newly postpartum mothers (contact race director).

☔ Weather Information

Spring in Buena Vista is unpredictable. Last year we had fun running in mud and snow! The event will go on whether it's sunny, raining, snowing, or otherwise!

🐕 Animals and Pets

Dogs are NOT allowed on any race course due to our race insurance. You can bring your furry friends to the Start/Finish Line, but please keep them controlled, at least 20 feet away from the Start/Finish Line, and on a leash at all times.
