🏅 Event Overview
Join us: for the 1st annual Milton Youth Tri!
Purpose: The Milton Youth Tri is an inspiring new initiative designed to promote youth fitness, confidence, and community spirit in Milton!
Fundraising: Funds raised from this event will go towards supporting youth with grants to participate in other athletic opportunities.
Intended Experience: This event is NOT structured as a highly competitive race! It's the perfect event for a kid's first triathlon experience.

👶 Participation Details
Ages: This opportunity is open to youth ages 5-12 with a Kids Run and a Triathlon!
🏃 KIDS RUN
Location: Come run one loop around the outdoor track at the Milton High School!
Participants: Young kids (siblings of triathlon participants!), parents, and strollers.
Medals: All youth participants will receive a medal.
🚴 TRIATHLON Details
AGES 5-9
Swim: 50 M (1 lap in the Milton High School pool)
Bike: 1 mile (1 lap around Schilberg Park)
Run: .4 miles (run from transition to the track + 1 loop on the track)
AGES 10-12
Swim: 100m (2 laps in the pool)
Bike: 3 miles (3 loops around Schilberg Park)
Run: ~1 mile (run from transition + 3 loops on the track)
🏁 Race Run Down!
Start: The triathlon will begin in the Lieder Family Pool at the Milton High School.
Transition: Athletes will exit the pool and follow the markers and volunteers to make their way (blue arrows on the map) to the front parking lot/transition.
Helmet Requirement: Once on their bikes, athletes must wear helmets, exit the parking lot, and turn right onto High Street. Please note that High Street will be closed from Rainbow Drive to the Cone Zone.
Course: Athletes will loop Schilberg Park in a counterclockwise loop (orange arrows). One loop for ages 5-9 and three loops for ages 10-12.
Return: Once loops are completed, athletes will exit Schilberg Park and make their way back to the bike transition area.
Running: Once bikes are returned to the transition area, athletes will follow the run route (pink arrows) to the track. One loop on the track for ages 5-9 and three loops for ages 10-12.
Finish Line: The finish line will be on the track!
🎖️ Participant Perks
Medals: All triathlon participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal.
After Party: There will be an after party on the track and a chance for families to celebrate the finishers!
