About this race
Join us on Saturday, August 15, 2026 for the sixth annual Race for a Place to Call Home to benefit Project 16:49. The event takes place in Janesville’s beautiful Riverside Park - the start / finish line is located at the North Pavilion.
Project 16:49 is a local non-profit organization serving Rock County’s unaccompanied homeless youth in area high schools and the community. Project 16:49 provides basic needs assistance and case management, and operates two transitional living homes where residents have the time, space, and support to address their situations as they begin to heal, learn key life skills, increase their self-sufficiency, and prepare for independent living while completing their high school education and/or working. Your participation directly benefits our youth by providing life-changing support and opportunities. Find out more at: Project 16:49.
