Run the Platte Half / 10K / 5K

Join us in Springfield, Nebraska on Saturday, October 3rd for the 2nd Annual Run the Platte Half, 10K, & 5K.

📝 Registration

• Includes: professional timing, long-sleeved running shirt, custom finisher medal, overall finisher awards, and PUMPKIN PIE!
• Note: Shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 1st.

📅 Race Day Info

• Half Start Time: 8:00 AM
• 5K / 10K Start Time: 8:15 AM
• Start/Finish Location: MoPac trailhead parking lot on the corner of NE-50 & NE-31
• Arrival: Be at the starting line 10 minutes before your start time.

🗺️ Course

• Course Type: Both 10K & 5K courses are out and backs on the MoPac Trail.
• Half Marathon: The course will follow the MoPac Trail and cross the Platte River and continue through the North Lake neighborhood.
• Aid Stations: Approximately every 2 miles and will include water, Gatorade, snacks & band-aids.
• Time Limit: 4 Hours (12:00 PM cutoff)

• Strollers & Dogs: Welcome on the course, please be mindful of other runners.
• Refunds: Will not be issued.
• Inclement Weather: Race will be held rain or shine. Race may be canceled/postponed if conditions present potential danger to participants.
