Run the Platte Half / 10K / 5K

Race Overview

Join us in Springfield Nebraska on Saturday October 4th for the 3rd Annual Run the Platte Half, 10K, & 5K.

Registration

• Includes: professional timing, long-sleeved running shirt, custom finisher medal, overall finisher awards, and PUMPKIN PIE!
• Deadline: Shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 1st.

Race Day Info

• Half Start Time: 8:00AM
• 5K / 10K Start Time: 8:15AM
• Start/Finish Location: MoPac trailhead parking lot on the corner of NE-50 & NE-31
• Arrival: Be at the starting line 10 minutes before your start time.

Course Details

• Course Types: Both 10K & 5K courses are out and backs on the MoPac Trail.
• Half Marathon: Follows the MoPac Trail, crossing the Platte River and continuing through the North Lake neighborhood.
• Aid Stations: Approximately every 2 miles, providing water, Gatorade, snacks & band-aids.
• Time Limit: 4 Hours (12:00pm cutoff)

Packet Pickup

• Friday, October 2nd: 3:00-6:00 PM at Peak Performance - Bellevue, 3512 Samson Way Suite 212, Bellevue, NE 68123
• Saturday, October 3rd: Race Day Pickup 6:45am-7:45am at start/finish location: 1500 NE-31 Springfield, NE 68059

• Strollers and Dogs: Welcome on the course: please be mindful of other runners.
• Refund Policy: Refunds will not be issued.
• Inclement Weather: Race will be held rain or shine: may be canceled/postponed if conditions present potential danger to participants.
