Run the Platte Half / 10K / 5K

Event Overview

Join us in Springfield Nebraska on Saturday October 3rd for the 3rd Annual Run the Platte Half, 10K, & 5K.

Registration Includes

• Professional Timing: Accurate timing for all runners.
• Long-Sleeved Running Shirt: Comfortable apparel for your run.
• Finisher Medal: A medal to commemorate your achievement.
• Age Group/Overall Finisher Awards: Awards for top finishers in each category.

Race Day Info

• Half Start Time: 8:00 AM
• 5K / 10K Start Time: 8:10 AM
• Start/Finish Location: MoPac trailhead parking lot on the corner of NE-50 & NE-31
• Time Limit: 4 Hours (12:00 PM cutoff)

Course

• 10K/5K Courses: Out and backs on the MoPac Trail, with a crushed limestone surface.
• Half Marathon Course: Follows the MoPac Trail, crossing the Platte River and continuing through the North Lake neighborhood.
• Aid Stations: Approximately every 2 miles.

Packet Pickup

• Friday, October 2nd: 3:00-6:00 PM at Peak Performance - Bellevue, 3512 Samson Way Suite 212, Bellevue, NE 68123
• Saturday, October 3rd: Race Day Pickup 6:45 AM-7:45 AM at start/finish location: 1500 NE-31 Springfield, NE 68059

Virtual Run

Can’t make it to race day? Join the virtual option and run anywhere, anytime! Complete any distance on your own schedule, then submit your finish time and a race photo. All virtual participants will receive an official Run the Platte shirt and finisher medal, shipped within one week after race day.

Discounts

• Group/Family Discount: Register 4 or more on the same transaction and receive $5.00 off each registration.
• Referral Refund: Refer 5 or more people and receive a $25 refund (referral code will be in your confirmation email).
• Military/Veterans: 15% off discount. Message us for a code. Verification required.

Additional Info

• Refund Policy: Refunds will not be issued. If you cannot attend, you can defer.
• Inclement Weather: Race will be held rain or shine. Race may be canceled/postponed if conditions present potential danger to participants.
• Registration Limit: Registration is limited to 300 runners.
