🎉 25th Annual Brooklet Peanut Run 5k

This year will mark 25th Annual Brooklet Peanut Run 5k. This race will be held on the 3rd Saturday in August (August 16, 2025) and will begin at 7:15 A.M. The location of the race will be at the Brooklet Elementary School - 600 West Lane Street Brooklet, GA. The awards ceremony will be in front of the school at 8:30 A.M.

🏆 Special 25th Anniversary Events

• Celebration: Since this will be the 25th year, we plan to make it one of the biggest and best.
• Awards: Plans are being made to award top prizes and also have some great door prizes.
• Participation: We look forward to all runners and walkers to participate.

📅 Race Date and Tradition

The actual Peanut Festival has been moved to the third Saturday in September, however we have kept the 5k race on what was the original date of the Peanut Festival which was the 3rd Saturday of August.

🏃‍♂️ Hosted by Southeast Bulloch High School

The 5k run is hosted by the Southeast Bulloch High School Cross Country Team(s). This is a fundraiser to help with travel costs within the season and also assist with the purchasing of uniforms and other team equipment and supplies.

💵 Pricing Information

• Early Bird Special: For those signing up before July 6th the cost will be $25.
• Standard Pricing: Beginning July 6th, 2025 the price will be $30. Anyone signing up prior to August 4th will be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
• Late Registration: Starting August 5th the price will increase to $35 and anyone signing up on or after August 5th will NOT be guaranteed a T-Shirt.

🕒 Registration Deadlines

Online registration will be cut off at 1:00 P.M. on August 15th, 2025.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Friday: August 15 from 4 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in front of Brooklet Elementary School.
• Saturday: August 16th from 6:00 A.M. until 7:00 A.M. at Brooklet Elementary School.
• Last Chance Registration: Available at packet pickup at a cost of $35.
• Capacity: This year’s race will be limited to 500 runners.

🏞️ About the Run & Course

This year's race will be on the 3rd Saturday of August. The run goes through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is flat & fast. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycle. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number.
