5K Start Time: 9:00 AM

🎉 Event Overview

• Join us: Come join us for the 'Running Of The Hawgs'!
• Race goal: The goal of the 5k is to provide an exciting race experience that promotes fitness, team building and family participation in a military environment.
• Beneficiary: All proceeds go to the Selfridge Adopt a Family program.

🏞️ Race Course

• Scenic route: Race winds through Selfridge Air National Guard Base.
• Sights: Runners will see military aircraft, historic buildings and wildlife along Lake St Clair.
• Finish line: The race concludes near the legendary A-10 Warthog.
• Entrance: Use the Hall Road (Rosso Highway) base entrance.

🕖 Check-In Details

• Timing: Race day check in will be from 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM.
• Medals: All finishers in the 5k will receive a medal.
• Awards: Age group awards and a trophy to the group that has the best performing male and female in the 5k.

⚠️ Registration Information

• Civilians: Civilians without base access - Registration deadline is July 20th.
• Entry notes: DO NOT register as Military, Retiree, Dependent or Civilian Employee or you will not be allowed entry to the base on race day.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Military attendees: Military Members and Retirees, Dependents, Civilian employees that have base access must have DoD ID card, valid through August 3rd.
