🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Come join us for the 'Running Of The Hawgs'! The goal of the 5k is to provide an exciting race experience that promotes fitness, team building, and family participation in a military environment.

• Date: Sunday, August 3rd
• Location: Selfridge A.N.G. (Rosso Highway Entrance)
• 5K Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Proceeds: All proceeds go to the Selfridge Adopt a Family program.

🛩️ Race Course

Race winds through Selfridge Air National Guard Base where runners will see military aircraft, historic buildings, and wildlife along Lake St Clair, then finish near the legendary A-10 Warthog.

📍 Directions

Use the Hall Road (Rosso Highway) base entrance.

⏰ Check-In Details

Race day check in will be from 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM.

🏅 Awards and Medals

• Finishers: All finishers in the 5k will receive a medal.
• Groups: Age group awards and a trophy will be given to the group that has the best performing male and female in the 5k.

🔑 Registration Information

Civilians without base access - Registration deadline is July 20th. DO NOT register as Military, Retiree, Dependent, or Civilian Employee or you will not be allowed entry to the base on race day. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Military Members and Retirees, Dependents, Civilian employees that have base access must have a DoD ID card, valid through August 3rd.
