🏃‍♂️ Swing Bridge Run

The Swing Bridge Run will be on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. Join Holy Trinity Classical Christian School in cooperation with the City of Beaufort for a 5K Run and All Ages Bridge Walk through historic downtown Beaufort and across the Woods bridge on a USATF certified 5k course.

🏆 Beaufort Triple Crown Race Series

The Swing Bridge Run is the 2nd race of the Beaufort Triple Crown Race Series. This includes the Run Forrest Run (Oct.4), Swing Bridge Run (Nov. 1) and Turkey Trot (Nov. 27).

• Registration: Register for the 2025 Beaufort Triple Crown Bundle (on this website) to support three local nonprofits - Beaufort Digital Corridor, Holy Trinity Classical Christian School, and Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry.
• Special Awards: Participants who complete the race series will be eligible for special awards for the best combined time.
• Spots: ONLY 125 SPOTS AVAILABLE! Register before the Oct. 1 cutoff!

🚶‍♀️ Walkers Welcome

Don't like to run? Support our event by registering as a walker. Registered Walkers will not be timed and will turn around at the end of the bridge before Meridian Road. Registered Walkers will receive a t-shirt with registration. T-shirts must be picked up at packet pickup - but will not be issued a race bib.

🙏 Sunrise Prayer Gathering

The race will be preceded by a Sunrise Prayer Gathering at 7:15 am under the pavilion at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park where all are invited to join. Please bring a chair or a blanket to sit on and join us as we pray for the students and families of our Beaufort community, as well as for Holy Trinity's sister school Good Shepherd Academy in South Sudan.

📝 Pre Race Prep

• Online Registration: Online registration closes on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 at midnight.
• Registration Pickup: We strongly suggest that you take advantage of registration, race packet, hoodie and t-shirt pickup held on Friday, October 31st from 10am until 5pm at Grounded Running located in Beaufort Town Center, 2139 Boundary St Unit 108, Beaufort, SC 29902
• Race Day: Race day registration, race bib, hoodie and t-shirt pick-up will be available on Saturday, November 1st from 7:00am-7:45am at the race location in downtown Beaufort at Freedom Park across from Best Western Sea Island Inn, 1015 Bay St, Beaufort, SC 29902

👕 T Shirts and Merchandise

• Early Registration: To ensure the t-shirt size you desire, please register early. We cannot guarantee a t-shirt or your size preference for any participant that registers AFTER OCTOBER 17TH.
• Hoodies: Swing Bridge Run Hoodies are available for purchase until October 17th and can be picked up Friday, November 1st from 10am until 5pm at Grounded Running or at the race on Saturday.
• Pickup Policy: Due to the size of the race, all shirts and hoodies MUST BE PICKED UP at packet pickup or on race day. Any items not picked up by the end of the race will be made available for re-sale. NO EXCEPTIONS, NO REFUNDS, and NO DELIVERIES!

📅 Day of Schedule

• 7:15-7:45 am: Sunrise Community Prayer Gathering under the pavilion at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. Chairs will not be provided for this service, so please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
• 7:00-7:45 am: Day of Race Packet Pickup/Registration at race location at Freedom Park across from Best Western Sea Island Inn, 1015 Bay St, Beaufort, SC 29902.
• 8:00 am: 5K Start.
• 8:20 am: All Ages Bridge walk starts, walkers fall in behind runners.
• 8:45 am: Award Ceremony.
• 9:00 am: Enjoy your morning in downtown Beaufort.

🐾 Additional Info

• Event Friendly: Event is dog-friendly and stroller-friendly - please fall in the back of the line behind the runners.
• No Bicycles: No bicycles please.
• 5K Course: Start/finish line at Freedom Mall down Bay Street, cross Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady's Island down Meridian Rd to Youmans Drive and double back on same route to Freedom Mall.

🏅 Race Day Awards

Top 3 overall male & female awards as well as age groups awarded to top 3 male & female: 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The race is open for runners and walkers of all abilities. The awards ceremony will begin immediately following the race.
