ORRRC Tadmor 10k

HISTORY

• Name Origin: This race is named after the town of Tadmor, Ohio that was once the central hub of transportation in Montgomery County, Ohio.
• Historical Significance: Tadmor was unfortunately destroyed by the Great Flood of 1913.
• Course Location: The course will take you almost to the location of the historical site of Tadmor, Ohio, nestled inside Taylorsville Metropark.

RACE START TIME

• Start Time: 8:00 AM

PARKING

• Parking Location: Please park at Kyle Park.
• Address: 500 South 1st Street, Tipp City, Ohio.

REGISTRATION

• Online Registration: Registration is available through RunSignup prior to the race.
• In-Person Registration: Available on race day: hard copy registration sheets will also be provided.
• Registration for Minors: Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.

CHECK-IN

• Check-In Requirement: All participants must check-in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes.
• Check-In Location: Look for the table with the green tablecloth to get your chip.
• Arrival Recommendation: We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm-up.

FEES

• ORRRC Members: All current members run for free (fee waived automatically when your RSU membership profile is used, or bring your card/proof of membership).
• Non-Members Age 15 and Up: $10 fee.
• Non-Members Age 14 and Under: Free.
• Proof of Membership: Members must show proof of membership on race day if not registering through RunSignup.

AWARDS

• Overall Awards: First Overall Male/Female, First Male/Female Masters (40 and over), First Grand Master Male/Female (50 and over), First Male/Female Senior (60 and over).
• Age Group Awards: Age group categories include 9 and under (non-competitive), 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & up.
• Eligibility: Recipients of overall awards are not eligible for age group awards.

ANIMAL POLICY

• Policy: Due to our insurance coverage, animals are not permitted at any ORRRC event.
• Service Dogs: The only exception is service dogs, which must be clearly identified.
• Exclusion: Persons with any other animals will be removed from the event and will not be issued a timing chip.
• Appreciation: We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
