Join Augusta University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program for the inaugural Motion is Lotion 5K!

🎉 Event Purpose

• Celebration: In celebration of National Physical Therapy Month, this event highlights the power of movement and the essential role physical therapists play in helping individuals live active, healthy lives.
• Empowerment: As future movement specialists, our DPT students are passionate about empowering others through education, rehabilitation, and community engagement.
• Inclusivity: This race is an opportunity to bring people of all ages and abilities together in support of wellness, mobility, and the PT profession.
• Support: All proceeds and support will go toward promoting physical activity and supporting student-led outreach initiatives.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, weekend walker, or just looking to support a great cause, we invite you to lace up and move with us! Come run, walk, or cheer — and help us celebrate movement as medicine!

💰 Proceeds

All proceeds will go to the Augusta Universities Student Physical Therapist Association (SPTA).
