SRC Presents: A Backyard Ultra

🏃‍♂️ Race Date

• Date: December 13th, 2025

🌳 Event Overview

• Location: Blydenburgh County Park, Hauppauge, NY
• Culture: Long Island has a rich and deep running culture with many events every weekend.
• Opportunity: This unique event caters to ultra and trail runners seeking longer race distances.
• Benefit: A portion of proceeds will support the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference.

⏱️ Race Format

• Concept: Participants run 4.167 miles every hour on the hour.
• Endurance: Runners must drop out if they cannot complete the distance in the time period.
• Winner: The last competitor to complete a full loop will be declared the winner.

🎟️ Bib Pick Up

• Check In: Bib numbers will be assigned at check in.
• Early Pick Up: Available at Smithtown Running Company on December 11th (11 am - 7 pm) and December 12th (11 am - 5 pm).
• Race Day: Bib pick up starts at 6:45 am at the start/finish line area.
• Notice: No on-site sign ups on the morning of 12/13: bibs can be picked up only.
