SRC Presents: A Backyard Ultra

Event Details

• Date: December 13th, 2025
• Location: Blydenburgh County Park, Hauppauge, NY

• Beneficiary: Proceeds will benefit the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference.

Race Format

• Objective: A backyard ultra is about endurance, not speed.
• Distance: Participants run 4.167 miles every hour on the hour.
• Elimination: Must complete the distance or drop out.
• Winner: The last participant able to finish a full loop wins.

Bib Pick Up Information

• Bib Assignment: Bib numbers will be assigned at check-in.
• Early Pickup: Available at Smithtown Running Company:
• When:
  • Thursday, December 11th - 11 am to 7 pm
  • Friday, December 12th - 11 am to 5 pm
• Race Day: Bib pickup starts at 6:45 am from the start/finish line area.

Important Notes

• No On-Site Sign Ups: There will be no sign-ups on the morning of 12/13.
• Bib Collection: You can only pick up your bib if you haven't done so already.
