Revenge of the Red Baron Half Marathon and 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Red Baron is back…and he’s out for REVENGE!

• Event: The 43rd running of the Red Baron provides the option of running a half marathon or a 5K.
• Discounts: Available for current SUNY Corning Community College students (more info on that coming soon).
• Special Pricing: Special 5K pricing is available for all participants age 18 and under.
• Challenge: This event is PERFECT for anyone who is looking for a uniquely challenging road race.

📅 Date & Time

• When: Sunday, November 2, 2025.
• Start Time: The race starts promptly at 11:00 AM.
• Completion Time: You must be able to complete the half marathon in 4 hours.

📍 Location

• Start/Finish: Corning Community College, 1 Academic Drive, Corning, NY 14830.
• Course Map: Refer to the course map for details including aid station and porta-potty locations.
• Bib Pick-up: Bib pick-up and the post-race celebration will be in the Commons at SUNY Corning Community College.

📝 Registration

• Opening: Online registration OPENS on June 30 at 8:00 AM.
• Early Bird: Special early bird half marathon pricing for the first 2 weeks.
• Closing: Online registration CLOSES at noon October 30.
• Same Day: Same day registration will be available before the race.

🎟️ Packet Pickup/Onsite Registration

• Pickup Time: Packet pick up and on the spot registration will be from 9:30 - 10:45, November 2.
• Location: In the Commons of Corning Community College.

🥇 Awards

• Categories: Top overall winners in the Half Marathon and 5K for Male and Female.
• Age Group: 1st place in each age group category.
• Ceremony: There will be an in-person Awards Ceremony in the Commons following each race.

👵 Age Group Categories

• Categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

🏅 Results

• Timing: The event is chip timed.
• Online Results: Results will be available online the day of the race.

🎁 Swag

• Half Marathon: All half marathon participants will receive a Revenge of the Red Baron hooded sweatshirt.
• 5K Participants: Will have the option to purchase a short sleeve running shirt and/or a hooded sweatshirt.

🥇 Finisher’s Medal

• All Finishers: Receive a custom finisher’s medal.

🍕 Post Race

• Celebration: The post-race celebration will take place at Corning Community College.
• Food: Food will be provided, and there will be vegetarian options.

🚗 Parking

• Availability: Parking will be available in the Corning Community College parking lots.

⚠️ Policies

• No Deferrals: There are no deferrals, refunds, or credits for other STRC events.
