Strides 4 Sight 5K Walk/ Run and Kids Fun Run

👁️ Event Overview

• Organizer: The Minnesota Eye Foundation (MEF) created the Strides 4 Sight 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run in 2014.
• Purpose: Increase awareness and funding for The Vision Project, Minnesota Eye Foundation's community outreach program offering eye care services and surgical treatments to patients unable to otherwise afford care.
• Volunteer Effort: The event is led by Minnesota Eye Foundation and the Strides 4 Sight committee, a group of volunteers dedicated to making a difference throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
• Fundraising Success: Since 2014, this annual fundraiser has generated over $200,000 to The Vision Project and the Foundation's mission of enriching the quality of life of individuals through sight-restoring surgeries.
