2026 Avenue of the Giants Marathon

🌲 Race Overview

The Avenue of the Giants is one of the most beautiful races in the world! It runs through old growth redwoods and follows a natural creek in the middle of a state park. Staged on "The Avenue of the Giants" in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, located in rural Northern California.

• Location: Dyerville Bridge Overlook, Arcata, CA
• Date: 2026-05-03
• Surface: Paved road
• Difficulty: Gently uphill, mostly flat and fast

🌳 Inspiration

With little to distract you, the tall trees inspire the athlete in each of us to be strong. The course is certified and the marathon is a Boston Qualifying event.
