The Mega Fun Mega Run is a 5K Run/Walk open to all ages and experience levels, taking place on August 23, 2025 at Langan Park in Mobile, AL. The race offers a scenic and enjoyable course through one of Mobile’s most popular parks, featuring flat, paved trails, shaded paths, and a peaceful loop around the central pond. Whether you're racing for time or walking for fun, this event is a great way to get moving in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

📦 PACKET PICK-UP

• When: Packet pick-up will be available the morning of the race from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at the Langan Park Pavilion.
• Pre-Race Pick-Up: Also the day before, August 22nd, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the University of South Alabama SGA Pavilion (6341 John Counts Dr Mobile, AL 36608).
• Race Shirt: All registered participants will receive a race shirt featuring the official Mega Fun Mega Run 5K logo.
• Post-Race Activities: After the race, stick around for food, music, awards, and more information about Mega Musical Chairs, the exciting fundraiser this race supports.

🏆 AWARDS

• Overall Finishers: Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers.
• Age Categories: Awards also provided for top finishers in the following age categories: 0–9, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70–79.

❤️ WHY WE RUN

• Supporting Charity: Proceeds from the Mega Fun Mega Run support Mega Musical Chairs, a student-led charity event taking place October 3rd at The Grounds (1035 Cody Rd N, Mobile, AL 36608).
• Event Details: The event kicks off at 6:00 PM and is open to the entire community.
• Ticket Price: Tickets are $10 and include dinner, an event shirt, raffle tickets, and entry into the musical chairs competition.
• Make a Difference: The top three winners will have the opportunity to donate the funds raised throughout the year to a charity of their choice.
