Dubach's Celebration 5k Run

Celebrating the New and Improved Town of Dubach

🏗️ Background

• Community Effort: Our volunteers and Dubach Legends have started this last year rebuilding our town for the better futures of our children.
• Past Celebrations: Last year we had our first celebration for the weekend of July 4th.
• Activities: We started by rebuilding the baseball field and holding a co-ed softball tournament, where we had live music with a fishing tournament at the Dubach Pond.
• Facilities Improved: We also improved the playground, decks, pavilion, which included food trucks onsite.

🏃‍♂️ 5k Run Details

• New Addition: We are continuing this celebration for years to come but this year we are adding a 5k run.
• Beneficiaries: Proceeds will be divided up between Susan G. Coleman Breast Cancer Foundation and the town to better improve the area for children.
• Funding Projects: Funds may support projects like sports programs or after school care/summer programs.
• Fun for Kids: We will also be adding a dress up competition fun run for children ages 10 and under.

🎈 Participation and Goals

• Judging Criteria: Children will be judged for creativity, representation of the 4th of July, and determination to finish the race.
• Focus on Youth: This celebration is for our children and to share moments and memories.
• Future Vision: Celebrate a new and improved town for our future.
