This race benefits the Griffith Educational Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for donors to give back to their schools by funding teacher and classroom grants for creative and innovative classroom activities, projects, and programs beyond what tax dollars can accommodate.

Event Details

• Date: September 5, 2026
• Location: Central Park, 600 N. Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319
• Race Time: Starts at 9 AM, concludes at 11 AM
• Registration: Begins at 8 AM on the day of the race

Post-Race Activities

• Refreshments: Bananas and water will be provided after the race
• Car Show: Visit the Rock N Rail Car show after the race starting at noon

Pricing

• Adult Fee: $30
• Kid Fee: $20
• 4 Adult Group Discount: $80
• T-Shirt Deadline: Must register on or before August 17th to order a t-shirt

Race Guidelines

• Strollers and Dogs: Strollers and leashed dogs are allowed: please be mindful of other runners and walkers
• Facilities: Ample parking and restroom facilities available on site
• Awards: Awards and door prizes presented immediately following race completion: winners must be present
• Age Groups: Awards will be given to the Top Overall male and female in the following age groups: Under 18, 19-35, 36-49, 50+
