16th Annual Mardi Gras Madness 5K/10K!

🎉 About the Event

Join us on Sunday, March 1, 2026, as the Junior Chamber International of Santa Clarita (JCI) and the Santa Clarita Track Club proudly present the 16th Annual Mardi Gras Madness 5K/10K and Mini Madness 1K — benefiting JCI Santa Clarita and Students Off And Running (SOAR).

• Beneficiary: SOAR provides local youth ages 14–18 with a fully supported Los Angeles Marathon training experience — completely free for participants and their families.
• Official Charity: SOAR is an Official Featured Charity of the 2026 Los Angeles Marathon.

Mardi Gras Madness is Santa Clarita’s premier family-friendly run/walk event, offering fun and fitness for all ages!

• Course: Participants will enjoy a scenic USATF-certified 5K/10K course.
• Features: Chip timing, custom finisher medals, marathon-quality tech shirts, and a vibrant Health &: Fitness Expo.
• Festivities: Enjoy a beer garden, great food, costume contest, games, giveaways, a silent auction, celebrity hosts, and live entertainment.
• Inclusivity: Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a stroller-pusher, or bringing your furry friend, Mardi Gras Madness welcomes everyone!

🏞️ COURSE INFORMATION

The MGM course is a USATF-certified, rolling 5K/10K circuit featuring scenic paseos, bridge overpasses, and sections along the beautiful South Fork River Trail.

• Dirt Trail: Note: The 10K route includes a dirt equestrian trail from Mile 3.25 to Mile 4.85.

Skip the lines and pick up your race materials early!

• Date: Saturday, February 28 | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Canyon Club Courtyard (rear entrance near H&:M), Valencia Town Center
• ID Requirement: Please bring a valid ID to receive your 2026 - 8 One 8 Beer Garden wristband. No exceptions.
• Registration: Due to overwhelming demand, onsite registration cannot be guaranteed this year.

• 6:30 – 8:00 AM: Check-In and Pre-Registration
• 7:25 AM: 1K Warm-Up
• 7:30 AM: 1K Start
• 7:55 AM: 5K/10K Warm-Up
• 8:00 AM: 5K/10K Start
• 9:30 AM: Awards Ceremony &: Prize Drawings
