The Flynn's Flyers 5k Run/Walk

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

The Central Falls School District is proud to announce that year two of the Flynn's Flyers 5k run/walk road race will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 in Central Falls Rhode Island.

• In Memory Of: Our long time colleague, friend, coach, and educator Ms. Kelly Flynn who suddenly passed away in the spring of 2023.
• Purpose: All funds raised at this event will go towards the Girls on the Run CFSD afterschool program.
• Honoring Legacy: Fly high, Ms. Flynn and good luck to all the runners involved.

🏁 Race Details

• Start Time: The race will start promptly at 9:00am.
• Speaking Engagement: A short speaking engagement will begin at around 8:40am.
• Check-in: Runners may start the check-in process at the starting line as early as 7:45am.
• Location: The race will start and end at Yip Field in Central Falls with parking located a short distance from the starting line.

🌳 Course Details

• Course Terrain: Participants will complete multiple loops of the mixed terrain scenic course to eventually complete the 3.1 mile race course.
• Participants: We encourage both runners and walkers to register for the event.
• Safety: Due to safety issues and the course design, dogs and baby carriages are not allowed.

🎽 Participant Perks

• Items for All: All participants will receive a t-shirt and race medal.
• Refreshments: At the conclusion of the race, there will be light refreshments for runners.
• Cheering: We encourage family and friends to cheer runners on throughout the course.
• Weather: This is a rain or shine event.
