Mountwood Challenge Trail Race

🏞️ Race Overview

• Distance: 10 mile and 5K trail races
• Location: Mountwood Park - 15 miles east of Parkersburg, WV on U.S. Route 50
• Parking: Main parking lot is about one half mile by the boat ramp after taking the Volcano Road exit
• Date: 2025-09-20

⏰ Race Details

• Time Limit: 10 mile race has a 4 hour time limit: participants over 2 hours at the halfway point will be routed to the finish
• Age Requirement: Runners must be at least 15 years old to participate in the 10 mile race
• T-shirts: Guaranteed if registered by September 6
• Awards: Top 3 overall male and female in all races, plus one age group award in all 3 races for specific age groups
