Join us on August 8th at 8:00 AM at Baseline Road Trailhead for the inaugural First Gen-5K, a community-driven race created to celebrate and support first-generation students.

About the Race

More than just a race, the First Gen-5K is a growing movement bringing together:

• Official Pace Groups: Sub 20, Sub 23, Sub 26.
• Strong Atmosphere: Experience music, sponsor booths, and awards.
• Chip Timing: Accurate race times for all participants.
• Finish Line Celebrations: An experience that goes beyond just crossing the finish line.

Awards and Recognition

This year’s event will also feature:

• First Gen Future Award: A $500 award recognizing a first-generation student and their story, ambition, and future goals.
• Top Finishers: Awards for high achievers in various age divisions.
• Finisher Medals: Commemorative medals for all who complete the race.
• Shirts: First Gen-5K shirt for all participants.
