First Gen-5K – Run for Opportunity, Grow Together

Join us on August 8th at 8:00 AM at Baseline Road Trailhead for the inaugural First Gen-5K, a race dedicated to supporting first-generation college students.

Event Overview

More than just a run, this event is a growing space for the community where local businesses, leaders, and families come together to connect, promote, and inspire. With chip timing, sponsor booths, and a welcoming environment, it’s a powerful way to move forward together.

Beneficiaries

Proceeds from this event will support the First Generation Foundation, the Vida Valiente Foundation, and local scholarship initiatives that directly impact first-generation students in our community.

Race Features

• Finisher's Medals: Medals will be provided.
• T-Shirts: First-Gen 5K shirts will be provided to all participants.
• Age Divisions: 10-19 M/F, 20-29 M/F, 30-39 M/F, 40-49 M/F, 50+ M/F (Awards given to Top Finisher in each Division).
• Refreshments: Drinks provided before, during, and after the race.
